Organizations can register to assist during residence hall move in on Wednesday, August 19, 2009. Two opportunities exist for assistance. Organizations can either sponsor a refreshment tent or provide volunteers to help students move in to their new homes.

 

Please note the following guidelines for both experiences:

Sponsor a Tent

 

* All are required fields.

 

* Please do not use abbreviations.

 

 

 

Requested Shift:

 

Tent sponsors must provide water (Dasani only, due to CocaCola contract) and can provide other refreshments that are pre-packaged. Sponsors can hang an organization banner in the tent. We will provide the tent and a table. Sponsors need to provide cooler (s) and ice.

Move-in volunteers must wear closed-toed shoes. Move-in volunteers must attend a training/orientation session on Tuesday, August 18 at 2 pm OR 7 pm. Only volunteers who have attended a training/orientation will be permitted to volunteer on August 19.
